Bella Gail Foundation is the result of the uncapped passion for the youth and the arts of two educators Mrs. Chrystal "Bella" Lester and Mrs. Gail Sterling.

Bella noticed a void in the Milwaukee (WI) community where she has been a teacher and administrator for over 20 years. Chrystal who is also the founder of Bella Beauties Dance Studio, understands that not everyone wants to dance, but everyone can appreciate having a safe space to experiment, learn and grow. She already knew how powerful the arts could be in nurturing the whole child. Chrystal wanted to make that a reality to all the youth without the burden of affordability.

Gail was a teacher and administrator for over 25 years in the greater Milwaukee area. She was a mentor and a confidant to Chrystal as well as her Principal at the school where they met. This is where their relationship blossomed. Mrs. Sterling noticed how talented Chrystal was and encouraged her to open her own dance studio letting her know how much of an impact she has had on their scholars and how much more she could do for the community.

As the art programs slowly disappeared from the schools and the dance studio having a huge impact on dancers. Chrystal decided that now was the time to expand her reach to include more than just dance. Mrs. Chrystal “Bella” Lester attributes much of her success to her mentor Mrs. Gail Sterling and wanted to honor their joint mission by forming the Bella Gail Foundation.
